The Data-Driven Life Science (DDLS) program, coordinated by SciLifeLab and funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, will operate a national life scienceĀ data platform which will be built and operated by the SciLifelab Data Centre. The aim of the platform is to provide a technical environment for data-driven life science, with tools, systems, databases, support functions and other components linking up data, researchers and e-infrastructures.
Many of the components of the data platform will be developed by the SciLifeLab Data Centre, but it is also meant to be an environment supporting the SciLifeLab infrastructure to develop IT-based services or tools, and to host that. In the long term, we would like to see much content on the data platform developed and operated by the infrastructure and the wider research community.
