Do you want a SciLifeLab student to work with you this summer?
SciLifeLab sponsors 6 summer internships. These students are entering the 2nd year of the SciLifeLab’s Master’s programme, “Molecular Techniques in Life Sciences.”
Number of positions: 6
Duration: 8 weeks
Start: late June 2022
Funding: Salary costs for student covered by SciLifeLab
This is a great opportunity to get help with projects by a motivated and talented student, for your group members to practice mentorship, and find a candidate for a future master thesis!
Procedure
- PI’s or supervisors submit a short project description for students to browse
- Students select a project to apply for, and write a short motivation letter
- Six students are funded to do their chosen project, based on student merit/project suitability

Propose a project containing the following information (max 1 page). This document is what students will see and use to select projects. Include:
- Name of lab PI, project supervisor, university
- Short description of project
- List of techniques. Laboratory, computational, or both are fine
- Short plan for how the intern will be supervised during the 8 weeks
